The depositor told the media that he is contesting as (Sivadhina) an independent andidate. As Ranil's representative, the money was deposited by lawyer Mr. Ronel Perera.
The presidential election will be held on September 21.
It is seen in the special gazette notice issued in this regard that the nomination date is August 15.
